8 Sure Fire Ways to Raise Your Vibration Fast
Have you ever wondered what it would take to change yourself completely?
Meaning, to not only change your personality and all the thoughts and beliefs you have but also your environment and everything that makes up your personal reality.
Perhaps raising your vibration is the key?
Raising My Vibration
As little as two years ago my vibration and frequency were so low you couldn’t pick me up off the floor if you tried.
Plagued with depression, anxiety, and one illness after another, taking a bubble bath would stress me out and send me into a spiral of negativity.
I will admit I have always been a bit of a loner. As an introvert, I find that I need lots of down time. Maybe even more downtime than the middle of the road introvert. I have always found my happy to place to be somewhere between a glorious daydream and a philosophical conversation with anyone that would partake. So, yah, reality was a bit of a downer for me.
Finally everything sort of came to a head. Here I was out of work due to my latest medical debacle, and I was so sick and tired of being sick and tired ALL the time. So, I made the decision to spend my recovery time getting not only physically healthy, but mentally and emotionally as well.
I started to read about spirituality. It was calling me. Quickly, I became obsessed, and read and studied everything I could find. I started practicing, doing the exercises, and meditating every free moment I had.
Prioritizing my practice, I looked forward to how it made me feel. The results I received after months of deep internal work were so drastic that the only way to describe it is to tell you that the old me died. Yes, I know that sounds crazy. But the old me just melted away, and a new me emerged. It has been the greatest blessing I have ever received. And, that is saying a lot because I have two kids.
So what did I do exactly to transform myself from miserable to feeling a happiness that I did not even know existed? Before I share with you some of my favorite vibration raising practices, let’s discuss what a vibration is.
What is a Vibration?
According to the Universal law of Vibration and the science of quantum physics, everything in the universe is fundamentally made of pure energy. This energy, as with all energy, is constantly moving at different speeds.
When anything moves in this manner we define the movement as oscillations or vibrations. Science has identified that everything down to the subatomic particles (protons, neutrons, and electrons) that compose atoms are all 99.99999999% energy.
If the basic building blocks for all of matter, including the human body, is pure energy I think we can all agree that on a macro level our bodies vibrate too. We are essentially just energy moving at a rapid pace, and that energy has a vibrational frequency.
In fact everything you see around you is vibrating at one frequency or another. However, no one thing has the exact same frequency as any other thing. For example, your body is vibrating at one frequency, and the wall is vibrating at a different frequency. This is why even though you are pure energy and the wall is pure energy you cannot walk through the wall.
These differences in frequency is what makes you feel like you are a separate being from what you see around you: people, animals, plants, trees and so on. This is not how it works though. In truth you are not separate. Instead you are living in an ocean of energy, and we are all connected by a Unified Field.
Vibration vs Attraction
According to the Law of Attraction we are like magnets and the frequency of the vibration that you put out into the Universe will attract outcomes and experiences that are vibrating at the same frequency.
Positive, high vibrations will attract positive, desirable outcomes. Whereas negative, low vibrations will attract more of the same unfortunate events, emotions and experiences.
As the creator of your life, the good news is you have the power to change your frequency at any moment.
Some of My Favorite Ways to Raise your Vibration
The physical and mental benefits of meditation are well documented. According to countless studies, meditation is a powerful resource to decrease stress, alleviate anxiety, enhance self-awareness, lengthen attention spans, fight addictions, and reduce age related memory loss. There are countless resources on different meditation techniques available online. If you are new to meditating check out my article on meditation techniques for beginners for additional tips. Spending even 5 minutes a day on a mindful meditation practice can leave you feeling calm, grateful, and energetic.
2. Practice Gratitude
Start each day writing down three new things that you are grateful for in a gratitude journal. The practice of gratitude improves physical and psychological health, improves sleep, decreases aggression, enhances empathy, and improves self esteem to name a few. Though the list of benefits could possibly be endless. Don’t have a gratitude journal? You can get a great one here. Even, if you don’t have a journal don’t let that stop you. You can make one using an old binder or stapling together some craft paper. And, in a pinch any loose leaf piece of paper works just fine!
3. Take a Bath or Shower
Ever heard of people who get their best ideas in the shower? That’s because cleansing helps wash away unseen energy patterns from the body’s aura (including those picked up from others and accumulated throughout the day), making room for new creative thoughts and positive energies that are always seeking to guide us. Get a double dose of aura cleansing by using an all natural, non-toxic, crystal infused soap.
4. Spend Time with Positive People
It’s been said that you become the sum of the five people you spend the most time with. When you take an honest look at your social circle do you feel that their vibration is elevating, or at least energetically matching, yours? This can be hard to switch up if some of your friends have been a part of your life for a long time. Chances are if you have been in a low vibrational state for some time, those around you mirrored that state. As you seek to change your life by changing your vibration, encourage them to seek similar changes. Grow together. If some of your inner circle just aren’t getting it, then it might be time to switch up your circle of friends.
5. Move Your Body
Physical exercise that is specifically designed to move energy, can be a great way to raise vibration. While it is true that all exercise may be beneficial, Tai Chi and Yoga are designed to be a daily practice that moves your energy and raises your vibration. Personally, I have found Kundalini yoga to be a great preparation practice to use prior to meditation.
6. Be With Nature
Take a walk in the park. Have a picnic, and take a few moments to stare at the clouds. Breathe in the fresh air given off by the trees. Sit in wonder and be mindful of all the nature around you that you do not normally pay attention to. Connecting with the earth can be a powerful way to raise your vibration and create mindfulness as well.
7. Love is the Answer
This is the most important one! Love is the highest vibrational state which we are able to express through human form. There is not a problem in this world that cannot be solved with love. Self-love is the only love there is. As I discussed in one of my recent articles on manifestation, everything in your world is a mirror reflection of your thoughts, beliefs and perceptions. If you feel a lack of love in your life, start by analyzing how much love you have for yourself. If you don’t whole heartedly love yourself, the act of giving and receiving love will be out of balance. A good way to start is by writing yourself a Love letter. Write down all the things you love about yourself. You are unique and created perfectly. Open your heart to see all that you are.
Inject some fun and humor into your life. Laughter truly is the best medicine. Watch a funny movie, play a board game with friends, tell funny stories, sing like nobody is watching, go to a comedy show…whatever you do, have fun.
